One of the four fundamental safety rules of handling a firearm is "always know your target and what is behind it." You must be equipped with a proficient light to properly identify and engage a potential threat. This course is both classroom and live fire. We will discuss flashlight features, types, carry and draw considerations, when and how to use the flashlight, as well as methods for utilizing a handheld flashlight while shooting. We will be practicing methods with clear and safe weapons and engaging targets in a lowlight environment. We will then move out onto the range for the live fire portion and put these skills to the test. Must be proficient in Basic Handgun and Holster Draw skills.
