STEP 2 COURSE

Each 3-4 hour course and will cover the topics below.

Multiple Target Engagements

When there is one there are two. Keep your eyes open and aware of your surroundings and scanning for threats. If you have ever trained with me you know I talk about this a lot. In this clinic, you will be introduced to multiple engagements, more than one bad guy trying to kill or harm you. You will be exposed to new ideas on preplanned engagements for those threats and the procedure of moving from threat to threat.

Moving While Shooting

Take one look at a dash or body cam video and you will quickly notice that when shots ring out, no one is standing still. The fundamental skills learned during stationary shooting drills are essential for getting a solid grasp of shooting. Once you have that skill, it's time to train for real-world scenarios which involve shooting WHILE moving. Training in this manner is vitally important to your ability to protect yourself and your family. You must have a strong grasp of your weapon and proficiency in holster draw if you are unsure of your skill level and wish to attend please contact Mike at

Bilateral Operations

What is Bilateral: having or relating to two sides; affecting both sides. The world was not built specifically for the right or left-handed shooter. Neither were guns. Having the ability to operate your gun from either the strong side or a support side allows you to maximize your efficiency, effectiveness, and safety depending on the situation that presents itself. To attend this clinic you must have proficiency in the operation of your gun and have a basic understanding or willingness to learn bilateral operations. I schedule different levels based on the demand of my students. If you are unsure of your skill level and wish to attend this clinic please contact Mike at

Intro. to Flashlight Operations and Use

We will touch on and discuss flashlight features, types, carry and draw considerations, when and how to use the flashlight, along as well as methods for utilizing a handheld flashlight while shooting. There will be NO live fire during this classroom session. However, we will be practicing methods with clear and safe weapons. In addition to flashlight use, we will also be engaging targets in a lowlight environment. We will also engage briefly in utilizing a flashlight to investigate and identify a suspicious event may save you from deploying firearms prematurely, which is often a cause of unintended injury or death. In this clinic we will scratch the surface of the use and applications of a flashlight, both hand-held and weapons mounted.

There is a stand alone Flashlight Course that goes into depth on the operations and use of a flashlight. This is simply a taste of it.
